“Government cannot do it alone”- Barrister Zannah Mustapha

In this short clip, Barrister Zannah Mustapha highlighted the need for the community and other stakeholders to work together with government to tackle the challenges faced by forcibly displaced households in Northeast Nigeria. Barrister Zannah is the 2017 winner of the UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award. He negotiated the release of the Chibok girls and runs several schools at the epicentre of the Boko Haram insurgency. This is a clip from an original address presented at the International Workshop on Forced Displacement, organised by De Montfort University in Abuja Nigeria on 16th July 2019.
